Hidden Magic: Harper Shadow Academy

Description:

Homeschooled all her life to care for her mother, Willow reluctantly accepts an offer to attend the local university.

Little did she know, it's hiding a supernatural academy.

She discovers she isn't human and the four men vying for her attention are not all human either: a vampire, a witch, a werewolf, and one human.

As she learns to manage powers she thought was a lie, she uncovers a curse the family has dealt with over generations. She must fight to figure it all out among finding love.

My Take:

This book is definitely more slow burn without spicy scenes. There are four love interests who put aside their own issues to choose the main character. But I will warn you if you do not like a more mysterious vibe this isn’t your book. You are piecing it together and waiting for confirmation on what could be happening. The magic side of the main character doesn’t really come into play until halfway through the book. Then towards the end you get a glimpse of who cursed the main character. I liked the book but was hoping for more spice than I got. This book is definitely more young adult centered than other romance novels I have read. It might be a good fit for a child who wants to read romance without the adult natured content.
