The weather is changing, and the holidays are slowly coming up. They sneak up until suddenly they are right there in front of you. This book feels like that in the best way. A small grin of joy turns into laughter and love. Stella and Luka give so much joy in this story.
Stella bought a Christmas tree farm and turned it into a wonderland of holiday joy. She ends up needing her best friend to help sell the story of buying it with her boyfriend and hoping the one week of fake relationship can move her years of feelings along to get over them. What she doesn't know is Luka is waiting on her.
If you want a slow burn with seasonal joy and some miscommunication this book, is it. When the spice does finally show up in the second half of the book it feels natural and like a sigh of relief. I am happy I read it and didn't wait for the cold start creeping in like I originally planned.
I will be picking up book two soon.
